Sightseeing

Hangzhou is considered to be one of the most beautiful locations in China. The city is centred around the West Lake, an ancient river that was transformed into a huge lake and park area. There are walkways with bridges, small shrines and the Flower Harbor, an extraordinary botanical park which forms an Asian fairyland around the West Lake. Graceful willow trees dip their leaves into the lake creating peaceful places where people come to relax, picnic, fish, play chess and sip tea.
